Although Samsung arrived late for the party with its real wireless ears, the range of Galaxy Buds has been slowly and steadily competing with the Apple AirPods series. Particularly noteworthy for Samsung’s real wireless earphones are the prices; these earphones are usually more expensive than products similar to Apple. Not only that, Samsung's range reduces many competitions including Sony, LG, Jabra, and Sennheiser. The newly launched Green Buds Pro adheres to that strategy.

Price Rs. 15,990 in India, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is like a lot of competition when it comes to details and features. This includes active audio cancellation, wireless charging, and support for Scalable advanced Bluetooth codec. He is a talented fan of Galaxy Buds Live for one important reason: the right balance of canal. Is the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro now the best for wireless earphones for less than Rs. 20,000? Find out in our review.

Safe, audio balance in Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
Samsung launched Galaxy Buds Live in late 2020 with active audio cancellation and other premium features, but the unusual shape of the ear beans meant there were some issues with equity. The big change in Galaxy Buds Pro fixes that problem directly. With a traditional hole in the hole and extra care paid to get the sound alone, the Galaxy Buds Pro is a standard pair of real wireless earphones.

Ear tips play a big role in this, and three pairs are included in the box. However, the well-designed inner ear is what ensures that the sound is well-defined and well-balanced, if you are well-dressed. The inner ear also has proximity sensors, charging contacts, and an individual microphone, while the outer parts have a glossy end with touch sensors and two microphones each. The ears are rated with IPX7 water resistance, and will be able to handle critical levels of water exposure without real risk of injury.

With the Galaxy Buds Pro, Samsung has tried to add a premium look and sound to its audio range. While the glossy finish, colors, and style undoubtedly give the earphones that kind of vibe, and they go well with Samsung’s current generation smartphones, I actually liked the new look, and modern look of the Galaxy Buds +.

Earphones are available in three color options: violet, black and silver. Although the violet color option is very different from the lot, I did not like it as much as the black color that looks very sensitive.

Touch sensors in the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are simple and can be customized a bit; basic tap controls for playing and answering calls cannot be modified, but long-term touch touch is customized with the corresponding app. You can set this to control audio cancellation with ambient, volume, or Bixby audio channels, or instantly launch Spotify on a paired smartphone. I've used a combination of audio control switches with Spotify, but I'd like to set this action to control the volume when needed.

Like previous headsets from Samsung, Galaxy Buds Pro uses the Galaxy Wearable partner app for Android. The Galaxy Buds iOS app supports previous models, but has no support for the Galaxy Buds Pro at the time of writing this review. You can still pair a Buds Pro with an iOS smartphone using the standard Bluetooth pairing process, but customization and adjustment will not work until the app is updated.

The app on Android remains unchanged, and sets a specific product profile for the Galaxy Buds Pro when paired. Settings within the app include the ability to switch between ANC and ambient sound mode, set ANC and Ambient Sound levels, use voice recognition feature, customize touch and hold controls, update firmware, adjust calibration, and more.

'Voice detect' is an exciting new feature in Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. Enables audio mode and reduces the volume of any playback when it hears the user's voice, similar to the Speak-To-Chat feature on Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. However, this did not always work as expected; talking a little or at intermediate levels was not enough to activate the feature. It's a useful touch, but it probably requires software configuration to work properly.

The charging case is integrated, it is the same color as the ears, and it is exactly the same as the Galaxy Buds Live charging case outside. USB Type C port is in the back, and fast charging support should give you 85 minutes of listening time by 10 minutes. Qi wireless charging is also supported.

The earpieces fit inside the case well and remain firmly attached to the magnet. A small indicator light on the front tells you the level of battery in relation to the headset. You can see the exact battery levels of each case in the ear using the app, when the case is opened with the ears inside.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has a two-way driving system, with 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter for each earpiece. For connectivity, Galaxy Buds Pro uses Bluetooth 5 with support for SBC, AAC, and Scalable Bluetooth codecs. Scalable is an advanced codec that works with most Samsung smartphones, so you'll be able to get better sound when you use Galaxy Buds Pro with a compatible device.

There is also AKG editing and Dolby Atmos audio support. You will be able to activate the voice assistant on your smartphone. If you use a Samsung device, this will be Bixby by default, and the process is quite difficult to switch to another voice assistant like Google Assistant. On any other phone, it will select the device defaults.
