Realme has added new Smartphones to its budget Narzo series. The new smartphones are called the Narzo 30A and Narzo 30 Pro, and these are the successors of the Narzo 20A and Narzo 20 Pro respectively. Realme has upgraded the installation of the Narzo 30 series to make it look different, and these phones promise better hardware while keeping prices up. Price Rs. 8,999, Realme 30A will attract people with a tight budget. I put my hands on the Narzo 30A and here is my first appearance

The Narzo 30A is the cheapest smartphone in the new system, and boasts some beautiful hardware on paper. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio G85 processor and packed with a large 6,000mAh battery. After unveiling the Narzo 30A ₹ 8,999 box, it is clear that it is not just a box design that has changed. The smartphone also has a new design. There’s a design line drawn on two-thirds of the rear, while everything is clear. These lines are visible when the light hits the right corner. There is a small Narzo sign on the back behind the fingerprint scanner. Realme has come up with a square camera module, like the one seen on the Narzo 20 ₹ 9,999 (Update), but this new phone has only two camera settings. You get a 13-megapixel main camera and a black and white photo lens.

The Narzo 30A has a large 6.5-inch display with a dew point top with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. You only get HD + screen adjustment, and the bezels are even stronger, especially the chin. However, if you are given the price of a smartphone, it is something you can ignore. I found the Realme Narzo 30A tighter and slightly heavier, weighing in at 207g. This is due to its 6,000mAh battery. While at the battery level, I would like to point out that Realme has included an 18W charger for this phone, which should help it charge at the right time.

The smartphone has rounded edges and does not fit in the palms of your hands while holding it. The power and volume buttons are on the right, and they are well positioned. My thumb rested right where the power button was, and the volume buttons were also available. The SIM tray is on the left side of the smartphone and has two Nano-SIM cables and a MicroSD card slot dedicated to maximizing storage. The bottom of the phone looks busy with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a main microphone, a USB C port, and a speaker all in a row, and the top is completely empty. You can buy the Narzo 30A in two colors, Lazer Black or Lazer Blue that I have.

Realme has changed sides when it comes to the processor used for the Narzo 30A. This phone has a MediaTek Helio G85, rather than a Qualcomm SoC like the Narzo 20A. There are two types of RAM and Narzo 30A storage; the base variant has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and is priced at Rs. 8,999, while the top variant offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Rs storage. 9,999. I have one too expensive for me to review.

Depending on the software, you get Android 10 with more Real UI. My unit had a recent Android security episode of January. Customizing the UI is minimal but you get the right number of apps pre-installed in the Narzo 30A. Many of these can be removed, which you should consider doing after setting it up for the first time.

The Realme Narzo 30A on paper looks like a good smartphone for someone on a budget, but does it offer the same price as previous models? I will set the Narzo 30A for our performance, battery life, camera, display, and software testing to find out, so stay tuned to Gadgets 360 for the full update coming soon.
