Apple is delaying the launch of the podcast subscription service until June after some podcast creators had problems with delays in their shows that appeared after uploading it, according to an email seen by Reuters.
Apple in April said it launched a service that would allow podcast creators to pay for their shows, with Apple holding a 30 percent commission for the first year of registration and then dropping 15 percent commissions, similar to its App Store.
The service was originally scheduled to start this month with the launch of iOS 14.6. With the new OS, users can get premium subscriptions within Apple Podcasts. In addition to subscribing to channels or shows, subscribers can also find relevant content such as ads without ads, additional content, and early access to special episodes or series. Apple Podcasts' annual premium subscription costs Rs. 1,799. Creators, in fact, will be able to determine the price of their podcasts, or offer free trials.
IOS 14.6 brings the Apple Card Family to iPhone users, which will allow them to share their Apple Card with up to five people in a family sharing group. This will allow families to track expenses, build debt, manage spending, and more.
In addition to Apple Card Family subscriptions and podcasts, iOS 14.6 also allows users to add an email address instead of a phone number or AirTag and Find My network accessories in Lost Mode. Those using Voice Control can turn on their iPhone and only use their voice for the first time after a restart.
