Amazon has added a 'Text Entries' section where viewers can read articles for free. The new category has been silently added to the website and mobile app. It includes categories such as specialty, sports, entertainment, entertainment, politics, and more. It finds articles from various books and puts them together in one place. Some of these articles are available exclusively on Amazon, as per the page. According to the report, some Kindle users are notified of these featured articles.

The Featured Articles section is difficult to find when browsing the Amazon website or app but you can find it by searching for "featured articles." The ad states that essays have a reading time of less than five minutes but there are other articles that require reading time beyond the prescribed limit. The categories listed here include specialized, entertainment, political and administrative articles, sports, business and finance, health and fitness, community and lifestyle, books, food, fiction, current affairs, tourism and automotive.

These articles have been published in Outlook, Westland, Harper Collins, Hachette India, and others. It also features Amazon Prime Video articles.

According to a TechCrunch report, some Kindle users receive notifications for these featured articles. Since the included text category is not easily visible on the website or in the app, it is possible that Amazon is currently reviewing it before making it public. A report quotes an Amazon spokesman, "We are always focused on building new experiences and engagement with our customers and as part of this, we have been exploring a new service that brings articles on a variety of topics such as current news, books, business, entertainment, sports and lifestyle among students."

Amazon recently bought the American Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) studio for $ 8.45 billion (approximately Rs. 61,500 crores) giving it a huge library of movies and TV programs to compete with rivals Netflix and Disney +.
